IMAX
June 2004 saw the opening of IMAX ® on the hill of Riccione next to Oltremare and Aquafan.
Thanks to exclusive IMAX ® technology - 70mm reels with 15 perforations, a powerful 12,000-watt digital sound surround system and a giant 22 metre-high screen (as big as a seven storey building) - viewers are able to explore those far away places they could only previously dream about, becoming the protagonists of unforgettable adventures: discovering outer space, climbing to the heights of Everest and diving into the abysses of the undersea world.
ITALIA IN MINIATURA
The Italia in Miniatura theme park, dedicated to the historical, architectural and cultural heritage of Italy, brings together an unusual blend of ingredients in a wonderful combination of fun and education.
No other park offers such unique exciting experiences that let you "travel" dream and learn all at the same time.
Italia in Miniatura, with 272 perfect scale reproductions of architectural wonders, is not only an extraordinary trip around the delights of Italy, it is also learning more about physics while playing in the Science Fun Park, it is feeling your heart in your mouth on rides such as the Canoe or Sling Shot, it is meeting Casanova while boating through a Venice just five times smaller than the real one.

LE NAVI
The fascinating world of sharks.
Housed within a marvellous example of futuristic architecture dating back to 1934, originally built by the architect Clemente Busiri Vici as the very first organised children's seaside facility, later to become a summer centre, LE NAVI allows you discover how the universe, and in particular the earth and sea, were formed.
A fascinating and enthralling trip that takes you from the water's surface down to undersea depths of 3,200 metres to understand the phases of evolution of life on earth through both living fossils and fossils from the past.
The secrets of the ocean are revealed in a 3D film showing a sequence of amazing images of the extraordinary minute creatures making up the base of the marine food chain.
One of the main attractions is the great shark tank: a marvellous circular aquarium holding 700,000 litres of water and providing a safe home for 12 elegant specimens of sand, silver tipped and nurse sharks.
From the depths of the ocean you'll rise upwards to warm tropical seas through 47 differently-sized themed tanks containing corals, fish and invertebrates in a surprising variety of colours and shapes.
Your underwater trip will end with the exciting and unforgettable experience of the Tactile Tank containing more than 20 specimens of oceanic species and eagle rays that playfully come up close to the tank's edge to be stroked by visitors.
In the outdoor area you can admire the Stele of Novilara, a boat of the Piceno (southern Marche) civilisation reconstructed on an image dating back 2,800 years which came to light at the Necropolis unearthed at Novilara (in the province of Pesaro). An archaeological trip of discovery will take you back through the history of civilisations that skilfully used navigation for commerce and as a means of conquering new lands via Mediterranean routes.
